The Open Intake Programme is a specialized platform for full-time UMPSA degree, Foundation, and Diploma programmes, providing an alternative pathway for both local and international students to gain admission to a public university without the need for the standard UPU system. Managed by UMPSA Advanced, this programme allows local applicants with qualifications such as a Diploma, Matriculation, STPM, Foundation, or their equivalents, as well as international candidates holding High School Certificates (HSC), A-Levels, or equivalent qualifications, to apply directly for the Degree Programme. Local SPM leavers and their equivalents, along with international students holding O-Level qualifications or their equivalents, are also eligible to apply for full-time Foundation and Diploma courses through Open Intake. This initiative is designed to attract more qualified students to UMPSA’s high-quality, accredited programmes, offering them a valuable opportunity to secure admission to a public university.
